More about this list
Where can a child learn chess at a club? Most clubs here run youth training on the same day as the adult evening, usually in the hour or two before it: Lemgo, Lage, Werther, Rietberg, Delbrück, Rheda and Versmold do it this way. Others give the young players a day of their own, like Kirchlengern with its Thursday youth evening, Hövelhof on Wednesday afternoons or TV Verl at the Bonhoefferschule.
In Bielefeld the club of 1883 trains its youth at the Stapenhorstschule on Tuesdays and Thursdays in school time, and zweihochsechs at a primary school on Mondays. The young players of Schachklub Minden 08 moved to the Begegnungszentrum Bärenkämpen for a while after water damage in the library where they usually meet.
