More about this list
Which clubs meet on a Friday? Friday is the main club night in the Gütersloh county and between Herford and Minden. Gütersloh's club plays in the Weberei after its youth training and, earlier in the afternoon, holds a chess afternoon for seniors at a Diakonie meeting centre; Rheda, Rietberg, Delbrück, Werther and Versmold also train their young players first and let the adults play afterwards.
In Leopoldshöhe the club sits in a room of the comprehensive school, in Bünde in a primary school canteen and in Herford at the Königin-Mathilde-Gymnasium. Lübbecke uses the old district court, Porta Westfalica the village community house in Lerbeck and Bad Oeynhausen the new primary school in Eidinghausen; Löhne and the Schachklub Halle 1946 complete the Friday list.
